Beat this fellow crack-bloggers :-) I visited a pal of mine two weekends ago in Maryland. She is a genius. Genetic micro-biologist. John-Hopkins research babe. She's an Aussie. Her husband is one of us. Net-eng dude from Minnesota. He's studied Wing-Chun. She just had a baby and her folks were visiting from Australia. Dad loves to talk cricket and politics. Mom didn't say much... until... They barbequed. Lamb & Chicken Wings. Sooooo... I use my knife and fork to cut up and eat the lamb, and when I get to the wings, I do the same. All the while though, I can feel the my friend's mom's eyes on me... I KNOW SHE IS LOOKIN AT ME! So I tuck a piece of chicken in my mouth, and look toward her with a smile. I SWEAR... She points to me and says, "You... women and chicken... they both need fingers" ... ... ... the knife and fork are dropped. QUOTE... OF... THE... YEAR. Love you all. *peace* -Marley |
